CPR and Community Outreach

Many of the Department’s community outreach activities focus on the Town’s designation as a 
HEARTSAFE Community.  The Department maintains an AED registry and provides CPR training to multiple community groups and Town businesses at no charge.    The Department also provides CPR, AED and opioid overdose training to other Town agencies.   Since January of 2018, the Department has collaborated with the Cumberland School Department in offering an Emergency Medical Technician Course for high school seniors.
